Maintenance and repair of these appliances is considered an essential service and permitted to operate during the current CoVID-19 “Shelter/Safer in Place’ orders.
We are also closely following CDC guidelines and local events as they occur within the markets we operate in to determine how to provide you with the service you are in need of. We have directed our technicians on the rules we follow to provide you with this service, without causing undue risk to our customers or employees. You can expect your technician to advise you that we will need access to your appliance, with no adult, child or pet within 10’ of us entering your home or repairing your appliance. No service will be provided if the conditions are not sanitary, someone in the home is ill, or if our social distance rule cannot be followed.

Which appliances does Diamond repair?

My refrigerator (or other appliance) is past its prime. Is it worth my time to have it fixed?
The only way to tell if your equipment is worth repairing or whether it would be better off replaced is for us to conduct a diagnostic test. The team members at Diamond have a lot of expertise with a variety of appliances and can assist you in determining the finest approach to proceed. If we do the diagnostic and you decide not to repair the device, you will only be charged for the trip and diagnostic fee. We also have trade partner programs for a few of our products.
Do you have the ability to provide same-day service?
While we do our best to deliver same-day service, we always dispatch a specialist to your house to inspect the appliance, identify the problem, and source parts from our extensive inventory. While occasional repairs may take several days to complete, the majority of our repairs are completed the same day. With Diamond, you will only ever be charged for one trip no matter how much time it takes to fix something.
Should I be home during the repair?
Yes! For a variety of reasons, it’s critical that you’re at home during the repair. First, we’ll need you to let us into your home so that we can access the appliance. This is an excellent time for you to find out exactly what went wrong and how to avoid it in the future. We are glad to reschedule your appointment if it is inconvenient for you to be home at this time.
How much do you charge to repair appliances?
Every repair is unique, and the fee varies based on the type and intensity of the repair as well as the age and brand of the appliance and cost of parts. We can assure you that one visit will be charged, regardless of how many visits the repair needs, and we back all of our parts and services with a 90-day warranty. We also adhere to the terms of any manufacturer warranties, if applicable.
Is it possible to pay for a repair in installments?
We usually ask consumers to pay for each repair in full once it has been finished. We accept most common payment methods, such as cash, check, or credit card, and will generally email your receipts. How do I schedule?
Simply scroll back up this page to schedule your appointment. We understand life gets busy, and we try to keep you from waiting for your repairman. We provide 3-hour repair windows (e.g. 10am-1pm, 12pm-3pm, etc.), but we will contact you the afternoon before with an ETA for when we will arrive. We can also phone you 30 minutes before your appointment to notify you we are on our way.
