Household appliances are a key component in maintaining a healthy, clean household. Maintenance and repair of these appliances is considered an essential service and permitted to operate during the current CoVID-19 “Shelter/Safer in Place’ orders.
We are also closely following CDC guidelines and local events as they occur within the markets we operate in to determine how to provide you with the service you are in need of. We have directed our technicians on the rules we follow to provide you with this service, without causing undue risk to our customers or employees. You can expect your technician to advise you that we will need access to your appliance, with no adult, child or pet within 10’ of us entering your home or repairing your appliance. No service will be provided if the conditions are not sanitary, someone in the home is ill, or if our social distance rule cannot be followed.
We will continue to monitor the situation and adapt to what is called for based upon the changing conditions.

What types of appliances do you fix?
We can fix the majority of household appliances including washers and dryers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, refrigerators, and so much more.
Do you provide convenient scheduling options?
We do our best to respect your time by providing 3-hour repair windows and plenty of notice. For example, the day before a repair time window, we will contact you to give you a more specific estimate of our arrival time. On the day of the repair, we are happy to call you when we are 15-30 minutes away.
How much can I expect to pay?
When you choose Diamond, you can feel confident you are getting the best-value service in the region. We base our pricing on several elements: trip and diagnosis, labor, parts, and warranty. For repairs on appliances that do not have warranty coverage, you can expect to pay trip, diagnosis, labor and parts. The first three are one-time charges, no matter how many visits we make to service your appliance. For in-warranty appliances, we will charge based on the warranty agreement.
What are the signs of an appliance that cannot be repaired?
Our team of experienced technicians can pay a visit and help you determine whether your appliance is worth repairing, or if it would be smarter to replace it. If you choose not to repair the appliance, you will only pay the trip and diagnosis fees. We also offer opportunities to trade in your old appliances – just ask!
Do I need to be present at the repair?
Yes, we do need you to plan to be at home while our technicians are at work. Not only do we need someone to let us into the home, but our techs may have questions about the appliance that you can answer. If the time we have set is not a convenient time for you to be at home, please contact us and we will work together to find a better time.
What are my payment options?
We accept most major forms of payment including checks and credit cards. In general, we do not offer extended payment plans, unless the customer has worked with us before and has passed a credit check. Of course, every situation is different, so contact our friendly office staff to discuss your situation and get further information.
Do you offer same-day service?
We take pride in offering our customers the most efficient service possible. That being said, we want to make sure we do our due-diligence before coming to your home to make the repair. We have a huge warehouse of parts and always have a senior technician consult on the repair before it is done. While we usually are able to complete a repair on the first trip, you will never be charged for additional trips.
Refrigerators
Some of the common issues we see with refrigerators are units that don’t cool properly, or that freeze items that don’t need to be frozen. Water maybe leaking or your icemaker is malfunctioning?. Are your clothes not getting cleaned efficiently, or you notice they are still sopping wet after the spin cycle? Maybe the water in your unit is not getting to the right temperature, or the agitator is broken. Maybe your washer simply won’t turn on, or you are getting an error message?
